PTO Inspirations Art Contest 2026 Announced
North Star Academy is excited to announce the Inspirations Art Contest 2026! This year’s theme, “A Moment in Time,” invites students to capture a memory, milestone, feeling, or snapshot that tells a meaningful story.
We can’t wait to see where our students’ creativity takes them!
Theme: A Moment in Time
What does a “moment in time” mean to you?
It could be:
A joyful celebration
A quiet, meaningful memory
A historical event
A personal achievement
A powerful emotion
A snapshot of everyday life
Students are encouraged to interpret the theme in their own unique and imaginative ways.
Contest Categories
Each student may submit one entry in each of the following categories:
Visual Arts
3D Art
Digital Art
Video/Film
Photography
Literature
Musical Composition
Textile Art
Performance Arts (Theater, Dance, Musical Performance)
This is a wonderful opportunity for students to explore multiple creative outlets and showcase their talents.
Grade Divisions
Winners will be selected within the following grade groups:
Kindergarten–1st Grade
2nd–3rd Grade
4th–5th Grade
6th–7th Grade
8th–9th Grade

Submissions Due: March 5
Awards Night: March 19
Be sure to start early and give yourself time to polish your work!
The Inspirations Art Contest is a celebration of creativity, imagination, and student voice. Whether through paint, performance, words, music, or digital media, we encourage every student to participate and share their unique perspective.
