Mike Schlappi Visits NSA

Dear Parents and Students,

A very big thank you to all parents who participated in the “Big Give” celebration. The PTO put in countless hours to make this event such a success, and together the end result was wonderful. On Friday night the school was abuzz with excitement as families attended the Family Fun Night together. Once again this shows evidence of great parent support for a great school!

Teachers have been working hard to encourage students to succeed. Mike Schlappi, a world traveling motivational speaker, came to school Tuesday morning to share his experiences. He enthusiastically encouraged students to set goals and be optimistic in overcoming adversity. “If you can’t stand up, stand out!”

Volleyball and Track and field are starting soon. Students, once you have committed to being a part of the team, be consistent in attending practices and striving to be the “best you”.
